Bradford Bus Move - from 14 April 2024

As part of Bradford’s City Centre transformation works, bus services will no longer travel directly through the heart of the city centre from 14 April 2024. A new permanent public transport loop will run around the perimeter of the heart of the city centre avoiding previous delay hotspots, helping bus services to run more reliably across the whole district.

This service will be incorporated into revised service 633. Most journeys will be retimed by around 5-10 minutes to improve service punctuality. A small number of journeys will be withdrawn (Mon-Fri: 0635 Bradford to Tyersal, 1856 Tyersal to Bradford; Sat: 0835 Bradford to Tyersal, 0856 and 1826 Tyersal to Bradford).

The Broadway Centre and access to the new stops

From Sunday 14 April, the centre will be partially opened between Poundland and Primark (formerly Debenhams) from 0700 to 2100 every day apart from Christmas Day and Easter Sunday.

This will allow access through the Broadway centre to new shelter locations on Well Street and Church Bank.

The following stops will be unavailable from the Sunday 14 April:

• Little Germany X (Leeds Road)

• Little Germany W (Leeds Road)

• Cathedral N (Church Bank)

• City Park A, Prince's Way

This is due to these sites being inaccessible due to ongoing works.
