Rail replacement buses
If your train is replaced by a bus service, the local train operator will try to stop as near to the station as possible.
Every effort is made to inform passengers of pick-up or drop-off points at stations. Some stations display posters showing the pick-up / drop-off points.
Tickets and rail replacement bus services
Where ticket purchasing facilities exist, you will need to purchase a ticket prior to boarding a replacement bus service. If you do not purchase a ticket where facilities exist, you may be refused travel.
