First's service 5 runs  Leeds CityBus service,  linking key locations around the city centre. Leeds City Bus South Bank links the city and Leeds Dock.

Route

Leeds CityBus:  The Leeds CityBus links Leeds' rail and bus stations, business and shopping districts, the General Infirmary, Universities, Park Lane College and Halton Moor.

70, City Bus South Bank:  Circular route linking Leeds rail station and Leeds Dock.

  • Monday to Saturday daytimes - a regular service
  • Evenings and Sundays - half-hourly/hourly service

Leeds City Bus diverted from Clarendon Road and Clarendon Way until 2018

70, City Bus South Bank - frequency depends on the day of the week.  The service is available seven days a week.


Which tickets and passes are accepted?

 City Bus is £1 per journey,unless you have the following ticket or pass:

  • MetroDay
  • MCard or MetroCard (all types)
  • Metro Blind Concessionary Pass
  • Elland Road Park & Ride tickets
  • West Yorkshire DayRovers (after 9.30am Monday to Friday, and all day Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays)
  • English National Concessionary Senior and Disabled Passes (after 9.30am Monday to Friday, and all day Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays)
  • PlusBus tickets to/from Leeds

Please note: No other tickets are valid on this service

70, City Bus South Bank is 50p per journey.

If you wish to use both CityBus and South Bank, a combined single ticket costs just 80p.
