Boarding Pass

A Boarding Pass is available for school pupils who qualify for free travel on a specific service OR for services where prepaid travel is required.

What is a Boarding Pass?   

A Boarding Pass is issued to pupils who qualify for statutory free travel. It entitles the holder to travel free only on the school bus route number shown on the pass. It is not valid on any other school bus service or on regular service buses.

Using your card

Simply scan your Boarding Pass on the ticket machine.

Use public transport regularly? Claim half-fare travel! 

If you are under 18 and a resident in West Yorkshire then you are entitled to half-fare travel in West Yorkshire. You will need to apply for a PhotoCard.

  • 16-18 year olds in full-time education can claim half-fare travel with a 16-18 PhotoCard. Find out how to apply.
