Pontefract Road - Nevison to Ferrybridge

Location: Pontefract Road connecting Ferrybridge and Nevison at various points near the A1/M62 flyover for the puprpose of gas works.

Dates: 6th March to 6th April, 2023.

Diversions for school services:

P51 Holy Family and St Michaels: the driver of this service will discuss alternative arangements directly with parents. The diversion is expected to be as follows: AM, as per the usual route between Knottingley and Ferrybridge to Arncliffe Drive and Wordsworth Drive. Then divert back into Ferrybridge and follow the A162 Ferrybridge bypass to the A645, Knottingley Road, Bondgate, Box Lane, right turn onto Ferrybridge Road toward Nevison then Orchard Head Lane, Mill Lane, Ferrybridge Road and onto school as usual. PM in reverse of this.

606 St. Wilfrid's Catholic High School: AM as per the usual route from Knottingley to Ferrybridge as far as Pontefract Road at Wordsworth Drive. Then around Wordsworth Drive/Arncliffe Drive returning back toward Ferrybridge then to Hill Top and toward Pontefract on the A645. The bus will then head into Nevison via Box Lane and Ferrybridge Road to Orchard Head Lane where the bus will re-join the usual route. PM reverse of this.

SW3 St. Wilfrid's Catholic High School: AM as per the usual route from Knottingley to Ferrybridge as far as Pontefract Road at Wordsworth Drive. Then divert via Wordsworth Drive, Arncliffe Drive to Stranglands Lane then via Townville, Sheepwalk Lane, Spittal Hardwick Lane, Monkhill Lane, New Hall estate, Ferrybridge Road to re-join the usual route from Orchard Head Lane. PM reverse of this.
