Leeds Bus Station - Refurbishment works (Leeds)

Refurbishment works started on Monday 14 June 2021 in Leeds Bus Station, this is to provide improved facilities and higher levels of comfort.

The refurbishment works in Leeds Bus Station started on Monday 14 June 2021. York Street entrance is closed for approximately 18 weeks during the works.

You can still access the bus station via Dyer Street entrance or alternatively via National Express sidewalk on York Street.

Revised bus stand changes below for phase one due to commence on Tuesday 22 June:

  • Service 60 Keighley - Stand 22 and also from Bus Stop A on The Headrow
  • Service 62 East End Park - Stand 16
  • Service 87 St James's Hospital (evenings and Sundays only) - Stand 16
  • Service 117 Ossett/Wakefield - Stand 16 and also from Bus Stop Victoria Q on Vicar Lane
  • Service 118 118A 118S - Wakefield - Stand 16 and also from Bus Stop Victoria Q on Vicar Lane
  • Service 164 Garforth/Selby - Stand 16 and also from Bus Stop Cultural A on York Street
  • Service 189 Castleford/Wakefield - Stand 12
  • Service 410 Pontefract/Chequerfield - Stand 12
  • Service X17 Overton - Stand 16 and also from Bus Stop Victoria Q on Vicar Lane

Also from Tuesday 22 June, megabus departures will be from Kirkgate (under the railway arch). The same stop as currently used by FLIX.

Revised bus stand changes below for phase two due to commence on Tuesday 10 August:

  • Service 110 Hall Green/Kettlethorpe  - stand 4
  • Service 200 Cleckheaton – stand 3
  • Service 201 201A Heckomdwike  - stand 3
  • Service 202 Dewsbury/Huddersfield – stand 3
  • Service 203 Dewsbury/Huddersfield – stand 3
  • Mega Bus departures will return to the bus station
