FlexiBus East Leeds - Privacy Notice
Flexibus works like this:
- Download the FlexiBus App - Google Play Store and Apple Store.
- Register with FlexiBus.
- Book a journey on the app, at least one hour in advance, entering your destination and pick up point, the app will confirm your booking.
- Please check your booking confirmation for the actual pick up point as FlexiBus is not a door to door service. By using the map icon on the booking you can get directions to the relevant pick up point. This will be no more than 200 metres from the pick up address you selected when you booked the trip.
- We will pick you up in one of our new electric minibuses, other passengers may be on board. All FlexiBus vehicles are fully accessible.
- You will pay on the bus using contactless payment. If you have bought a DaySaver on the MCard Mobile app, show the barcode to the driver, if you have a free bus pass show this to the driver.
- We will drop you off at a safe location a short walk from your destination.
- Book your return journey on the app.
Please note:
- To book to St James’s Hospital use postcode LS9 7TF for the drop off location – the pick-up/drop-off location at St James’s is the bus stop near the roundabout off Beckett Street.
- FlexiBus will no longer serve Duke Street, Leeds - After careful research including useful customer feedback the FlexiBus will no longer serve bus stop Cultural F on Duke Street from Monday 5 September. FlexiBus East Leeds is part of a current trial and this decision has been taken to speed up the service and improve reliability and availability for customers. If you wish to travel to book to the city centre please use postcode LS9 9DN which will take you to bus stop 45010830 York Road, Torre Road.
- When booking a trip to get to a timed appointment or event, we recommend using the “Drop-off at” option. The booking software currently allows a +/- 15 minute tolerance to every booking, unless you have used the “Drop-off at” option in which case it may pick up earlier but will not drop off later than your requested arrival time.
- It’s important to check the app before your trip in case the timings have altered due to the +/- 15 minute tolerance mentioned above.
- Only add additional passenger numbers if you are taking someone with you – the app defaults to one adult passenger when you make a booking.
- Password Requirements: As of December 2022 login password rules have been updated on the FlexiBus App in line with the NCSC recommendations. They have to have at least 8 characters and use three out of the four: Lowercase Characters, Uppercase Characters, Numbers and Special symbols.
Logging onto the app
If, when trying to log onto the passenger app, you receive a message saying ‘username and password not recognised’ it is possible that you registered onto the test site which is no longer in use. To rectify this problem please register again onto the live system (key 7102)
