Disabled Person’s Travel Pass Applications

We are making some changes to how applications for disabled person’s travel passes are assessed.

From 1 October 2024, all applications will be assessed by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority. Applications will no longer be processed by your Local Authority. This will help to make assessing applications more efficient for our customers.

How will this change affect me?

• You will still be able to apply for a new travel pass, or renew your travel pass online at wymetro.com
• If you are unable to apply online, you will still be able to fill in a paper application form, or a large print or easy read paper application form.
• If you have any questions about your application, you can still contact your local authority until the 30 September.
• If you have already applied to your Local Authority, and you have not had a decision before 30 September, your application will be passed to the West Yorkshire Combined Authority.
