Renew your Senior Travel Pass online

Senior Pass usersIt now takes just a few minutes to apply for a Senior Pass online, from the comfort of your own home. It's certainly quicker and easier than travelling to a busy bus station travel centre and queuing to apply or renew, 

All you need to renew a Senior Pass online is the current pass number and a digital passport quality or camera phone photo to upload.

If you are applying for a new Senior Pass, you need a valid UK passport or driving licence and a digital passport quality or camera phone photo to upload.

Online, you can order the Pass up to three months in advance and , until Monday 30 April 2018, everyone who applies online is eligible for a 5%-off voucher code for a break with National Holidays, who specialise in short breaks and holidays by coach.

West Yorkshire Combined Authority, which administers the scheme, is also asking people to check whether their older relatives over need to renew and whether they need some help to use the simple online process

You can even apply on a friend’s or a relative’s behalf by creating an account in their name and then adding them as a dependent. It takes just a few minutes.

Over 300,000 Senior passes are currently in use in West Yorkshire and over 200,000 are due for renewal over the next six months.

A Senior Pass issued by West Yorkshire Combined Authority entitles the holder to free, off-peak bus travel throughout England and half-fare, off-peak train travel throughout West Yorkshire. In West Yorkshire this means free bus travel after 9.30am until the end of service and half-fare train travel from 09:30 until 16:00 and then after 18:30 Mondays to Fridays and all day on weekends & public holidays.
